It got an award as an idea, as an implementation and combined my passion for development, data and Earth! I am currently on the lookout for investment opportunities to start sharing more of this amazing combo with the UK Tech sector and the world.

COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEERING

I find nothing more rewarding than building and joining supportive Tech communities with the mission to share growth and give back.

  • Vice President - City University Tech Soc
I joined as a community member on my first Year at City and enjoyed every minute of this experience until my final year and after leading it myself. Grew with the community, made amazing friendships, fostered partnerships with Tech companies for our members, travelled all over Europe and the UK for hackathons and organised some myself.
  • Lead Organiser - Local Hack Day at City
Organised Local Hack Day as the head of the organising committee, attracting around 100 students for a 1-day hackathon with around 10 final projects deploying a wealth of technologies and APIs.
  • Web Development 101 Instructor - City Tech Soc
Using my past experience and the fact that I myself am fond of MOOCs and public speaking, I combined them and delivered Web Dev 101, an 8-week Web Development program, to City students across all majors, increasing society subscriptions from non CS majors by 100%

  • HackCon EU Speaker - MLH
Delivered a talk to EU hackathons organisers community members in Bank of America, London in 2018, covering how to attract diverse sponsors.

  • Speaker at Women In Tech Soc, Bath University
I was invited by Women in Tech Society in Bath University to deliver a talk on Why Start a career in Technology! This is particularly dear to my heart because starting my journey in Tech is a decision I made at 19 years of age!

  • Speaker at CodeGeist Hackathon, Cairo, Egypt
CodeGeist is one of Egypt's biggest hackathons. I remember that talk vividly because not only was the only hackathon I have attanded in my home country, but the fact that right after my talk I saw giant Egyptian figures and companies such as Vodafone speak was a moment of absolute pride. I was covering the diffrent stages and strategies of organising a Tech event, from all different perspectives.
  • Speaker at SH Summit, Cairo, Egypt
SH is a global human's rights initiative supporting Muslim women wearing the Hijab. This was an incredibly interesting talk given to 200+ Egyptian women on muslim women in Tech and how to not just fit, but excel as one.
